From festivals to gallery shows, I craft visuals that reflect the spirit of each event and connect with audiences. My goal is to make every design feel like an invitation — bold, thoughtful, and impossible to ignore.

To celebrate the Arvada Center’s 50th year as a cornerstone of arts, culture, and education in Colorado, I designed a commemorative logo that honors the institution’s past while looking ahead with optimism. The result is a dynamic, versatile mark that reflects the community’s creativity and the Center’s lasting impact.

The Ask
Design a bold, celebratory logo to mark the Center’s 50th anniversary. The logo needed to be impactful enough to stand alone across a variety of materials including print, digital, signage, and merchandise, while integrating seamlessly with the Arvada Center’s established visual identity.
The Design
At the heart of the design is a striking "50" surrounded by radiating lines, symbolizing growth, reach, and collective celebration. A vibrant blend of purple and magenta nods to the Center’s legacy and artistic spirit, while anchoring banners reading "1976 to 2026" ground the design in historical context. The logo was crafted for flexibility and is equally effective on a banner as it is on a lapel pin.

Light up an industry by lighting up the room.
the development
Designed in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, the logo was refined through rounds of internal feedback and tested across applications from social media to large-scale signage. I ensured it maintained visual impact at any size and across different materials. The typography and graphic elements reflect both contemporary design sensibilities and the Center’s cultural heritage.
Marking 50 years of creativity, connection, and community.
The final logo unites the Center’s past and future into a single powerful symbol. It reinforces the Center’s brand identity while energizing audiences around a major milestone, proving effective across platforms and helping to elevate the yearlong anniversary campaign.
